We're a Dry Hire
Bar Service

"Dry hire" just means you provide the alcohol and we handle everything else — the bartenders, the bar, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, setup, and breakdown. By Utah law the host supplies the alcohol, so this keeps your costs transparent and usually saves you hundreds compared to a traditional bar package.

What This Means for You
We never provide alcohol — you purchase the liquor, beer, and wine, and we handle absolutely everything else. This keeps your costs transparent, gives you full control over your bar selections, and often saves you significantly compared to traditional bar packages. Our bartenders are your professional crew for the night.

Lake Salt is based in Saratoga Springs, Utah and travels throughout the greater Wasatch Front. Travel within 30 miles of Saratoga Springs is included in every quote; beyond that we add $1.50/mile round-trip. We're happy to travel further for the right event — just ask.

We recommend booking 1–3 months in advance for most events. For peak wedding season dates (June–September), sooner is better. That said, we always do our best to accommodate shorter timelines — reach out and we'll check our availability.

No — Lake Salt is a dry hire bar service. You purchase the alcohol and we handle everything else: bartenders, mixers, garnishes, ice, bar tools, setup, and breakdown. We provide a detailed, guest-count-specific shopping list so you know exactly what to get. This keeps costs transparent and often saves you money.

Our 6' mobile bar plus working area needs a minimum footprint of 8' × 8', with 10' × 9' preferred — that covers the bar, the bartender working area, and a folding prep table behind it. All we need from your venue is access to a standard power outlet. Indoor or outdoor both work, and we handle delivery, setup, and breakdown.

Yes — all Lake Salt bartenders are TIPS certified and food handler certified. We carry full event liability insurance, and we can provide proof directly to your venue or event coordinator on request.

We serve the entire Wasatch Front including Salt Lake City, Park City, Lehi, Ogden, Provo, and surrounding areas. We're happy to travel further for the right event — just ask about locations outside the standard service area.

Absolutely — this is one of our favorite parts. We love crafting "his & hers" cocktails that reflect your personalities. We work with you on flavors, names, and visual presentation. Custom printed menus are also available to match your wedding's aesthetic.

Yes — and we love them. Mocktail events are one of our specialties. We craft elaborate non-alcoholic drinks that are just as impressive as their boozy counterparts: complex, beautiful, and delicious. This is perfect for Utah events where guests have diverse preferences, fully LDS-friendly gatherings, daytime corporate events, or when you simply want everyone at the table to have something special. Every cocktail on our menu comes with a mocktail version.

Absolutely — we have extensive corporate experience serving company parties, holiday events, product launches, and team celebrations across the Wasatch Front.
