We started Lake Salt in 2025.
It grew pretty quickly, which has been exciting — and honestly, we’re really glad we went for it.
Maddie is the lead bartender at most of our events. Before Lake Salt, she bartended in Florida at a beach tiki hut, a sports bar, and a high-end cocktail lounge. That range has been a huge part of what makes Lake Salt work.
Kendell handles the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the business moving, while working full-time in tech. You probably won’t see him behind the bar except to help with setup and breakdown — and that is very much for the best with his drink-making skills. 😉
We started Lake Salt after seeing an opportunity to bring the kind of bar service we wanted to see here in Utah. Since then, we’ve met a lot of great people and gotten to be part of all kinds of celebrations. People are usually in a good mood, the spirits are high, and it’s a genuinely fun place to spend a weekend.
